AFO Exam Re-Testing Procedures
The Aquatic Facility Operator examination ( AFO ) is a detailed test,
and unfortunately instances may occur where an AFO candidate does not
pass the test on the first try.
The NRPA will allow candidates to re-take the AFO exam within 60 days
after taking the first test. NRPA requires that a $80.00 re-examination
be collected prior to any re-test.
NRPA requires that re-examinations must be proctored by a Certified AFO
instructor. Candidates are strongly encouraged to visit the CES office
in Jupiter , FL for re-examinations. Re-examinations can be
administered at your facility for and additional fee , provided CES can
schedule an AFO instructor to serve as proctor.
