 The CESWaterQuality.com newsletter originated in January 2000. It was faxed to thousands of CES customers, contractors, renovation experts, pool service companies, and health department officials until December 2006. There were 83 issues in all, and we offer you copies of 82 as we cannot locate ANY copies of issue #44. During its time of peak popularity, a dedicated fax machine would work for 2-3 days nonstop in order to deliver the newsletter to our customers.The newsletter provided timely information on new and emerging technologies and new trends in pool care. We also took great pride in reporting new changes in the Department of Health 64E-9 code as it was modified over the years. The Customer Spotlight section became very popular as it provided an "inside look" at some of the more successful pool operations in the state and gave many customers a benchmark for their own in-house programs. The AFO section gave customers a quick glance of upcoming certification classes, and we even were able to use the newsletter to provide some special offers from time to time. By 2006 many pool operators, facility managers, and management companies had procured email addresses, and the format was changed to an email-based newsletter in January 2007.
